Deep Dirt Institute update from Kate Tirion

August 22, 2019

Deep Dirt Institute's mission is to use hands-on demonstration and inspirational education to empower individuals and their communities to restore the land, restore themselves, and reimagine the future. We envision a world where everyone has a sense of belonging on the earth and with each other.

Over the past 10 years, Deep Dirt has been a local leader in Permaculture Training. Now Deep Dirt has taken on the task of expanding its reach beyond the borders of Patagonia. In order to accomplish this goal, Deep Dirt has undergone some major changes. It has recently become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, has a new board of directors and an executive director. The board has been active since early 2019 and along with the new executive director, have been steadfastly working towards building new online curriculums, offering more hands-on workshops and more!

As you can see, there have been many exciting changes happening with our new injection of energy and purpose. Listen in as Kate Tirion, our Founder and Program Director, talks about some of the changes that have happened just this year.
